LA Hwy. 425 runs north-south through the parish and provides a 4-lane highway to the metro area. Interstate-69, which currently runs from Texas north into Minnesota, is slated to be extended into Morehouse Parish with connectivity to additional U.S. markets. The closest deepwater port is the Port of Greater Baton Rouge on the Mississippi River, 190 miles south of Morehouse Parish.

The Bastrop Memorial Airport, owned by the city of Bastrop, is adjacent to the Coulter Industrial Park and the Bastrop Technical College Campus. It has a 4,002 ft. runway and provides general services including landing, fuel, hangars and tie-down. The Monroe Regional Airport provides commercial and cargo service for the parish and surrounding region. In addition, there are seven general airports in northeast Louisiana.
